Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal turned out to be the perfect choice.
Having spent some time here nearly 40 years back and still at school the memories of those days were soon refreshed and only a greater pleasure to be able to share the joy of nature with my son.
Hluhluwe is a town centrally placed in the Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal and allows for easy travel to several well known conservation sites.
If you are keen on birding and or nature conservation this is the place to go.
Here are just some of the photos taken visiting the various parks in the area.

Who would ever imagine that these animals are under constant threat and the numbers are diminishing daily.
